Wildcat Sports Group - Parental Expectations 2024.

We want to express our gratitude for your continued support and dedication to the Wildcat Sports Group. We live in an amazing community where Wildcat pride and roots run deep. As we embark on another exciting season, we believe it's essential to outline our expectations regarding parent support, and conduct at both home and away games. 

These guidelines are designed to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Coaches are volunteers, please respect their decisions.

• If you feel the need to talk to them, due to something that you may have seen/witnessed in a game or practice please follow these protocols:
  Please do not approach coaches immediately following a game or practice
•  In most cases, please utilize a 24 hour grace period before reaching out. to the coach.
• Any emails must include a member of the WSG Board of Director on it. - Please find their names and information on our website.
• And always remember they are volunteers.

Respect officials.

• These officials are not perfect, but they are present and partaking in a sport they are passionate about and are doing their best
• They give their time so your children can play sports in a safe manner, within the laws and rules of the game.

Don’t “coach” over your children's coach! 

• We are trying hard to create curriculums and pathways to improve the play of all our athletes.  At each age we are working hard to have players master skills that will make them more technically sound and well rounded players. Let the Coaches guide these moments in games and practice throughout the season.

You are responsible for the behavior of those you invite to any game/practice. Make sure they are aware of these expectations as well.

Failure to follow these guidelines will see you being asked to leave the game, practice or event, and you will not be allowed to return to any team events until you have met with the Chair, ViceChair and coaches of the program.

 Remember, our goal is to foster a positive, respectful, and competitive environment that benefits our athletes, parents, and the community. Your cooperation and adherence to these guidelines will contribute to a successful and enjoyable sports season for everyone involved.
